DANIELLE DE LUCA / 'Samantha'
Danielle De Luca grew up performing on stage in her hometown of Houston, Texas ever since the acting bug bit her at age seven. Upon graduating with a B.A. in Theatre and Dance from The University of Texas at Austin, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she continued her training at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Hollywood. Since her arrival, Danielle has starred in seven feature films and two award-winning short films, as well as various commercials and plays.
Her most recent film, 'Naked Fear', co-starring Joe Mantegna and directed by Thom Eberhardt, is a thriller loosely based on a real crime committed in the 1970's. Shot in Santa Fe and Pecos, New Mexico, Danielle plays a young woman who is kidnapped, tortured, and hunted in the middle of the Pecos wilderness. It was, by far, her most challenging role to date, and also the most rewarding.
These days, one could expect to find Danielle burning calories at Sheila Kelley's S Factor, watching a local burlesque show, renting movies at Video Hut and 20/20 Video, or curled up on her couch, snuggling with her pets and re-reading the classics. She is also a self-proclaimed Pinkberry addict, and urges everyone she knows to "come to the darkside".
