DANIELLE DE LUCA / 'Samantha'
Danielle
De Luca grew up performing on stage in her hometown of Houston,
Texas ever since the acting bug bit her at age seven. Upon graduating
with a B.A. in Theatre and Dance from the
University of Texas at Austin, she relocated to Los
Angeles, where she continued her training at the Stella
Adler Academy of
Acting in Hollywood.
In 2005, Danielle booked her first leading role in the horror feature,
' The Curse of Lizzie Borden'. An avid
fan of the horror genre since being introduced to 'The
Shining' and Rosemary's Baby'
as a wee girl, Danielle found being a "scream
queen" came
naturally. She has since played the lead in other horror features, including,
'Queen Cobra', 'The Wolf People', 'Zombie Farm' and 'Blood Mask'.
Before booking 'Necrosis', Danielle held the lead in another thriller,
'Naked Fear', co-starring Joe Mantegna and
directed by Thom Eberhardt. Loosely
based on a real crime committed in the 1970's, Danielle portrays a young
woman who is kidnapped, tortured and hunted in the middle of the Pecos
wilderness. It has been one of her most challenging
and rewarding roles to date.
Danielle is currently breaking away from the dark side to prepare for
a lead role in an upcoming untitled romantic
comedy.
