GREG McDOUGALL / Special Effects Supervisor
Greg McDougall started his makeup and effects career
on the east coast in the mid 90's, lending his skills
to theatrical shows and live presentations such as The
Cleveland Opera and the Six Flags Batman Stunt Show.
In 1998, Greg also acquired his first feature film
credit as Production Designer and Key Effects Artist
for the independent sci-fi film, Clone.
After a two-year stint as a makeup instructor at Tom
Savini’s School of Makeup Effects in Pennsylvania,
Greg moved out to Los Angeles in 2003. Since
relocating, Greg has worked on a number of big budget
studio films such as War of the Worlds, The Chronicles
of Narnia, Doom, and Disney’s Eight Below.
In 2005, Greg formed Cerberus Creations with partner,
Cari Finken. For the fledgling company’s first
official assignment, Greg and his highly skilled team
of artists tackled the ambitious effects for Creepshow
3. Recently, Greg has been busy creating a slew of
creatures and makeup effects for the upcoming
independent films, Spike and The Blackout.
In his spare time, Greg teaches makeup classes and
enjoys writing scripts and developing projects for his
company.
